EXTRAS
2022 Riders Say:
“It was apparent that every person on the BRNW team had a passion for people and commitment to excellence. An exceptional experience.”
OK, we’ve got a good route, plenty of delicious food, mechanics and SAGs… free beer, wine and cider.
But how about a few add-ons? Sometimes it’s the little extra touches that really round out your peak experience. Check out the possibilities.
Tent & Porter
Let us pamper you with our Tent & Porter Service!
Each day, our porters will set up and take down a tent we provide, deliver door-to-door luggage service, and have a comfy chair waiting for you in camp. This leaves you more time to relax, grab a snack or beverage, socialize, stretch or enjoy the local area.
Here’s how it works: By 2 p.m. every afternoon, your tent, your bags and your chair will be set up and waiting for your arrival from the day’s ride. Your tent will be individually marked for your convenience. At 7:45 each morning, a porter will begin dismantling your tent and will transport it to the next campsite for you to enjoy again.
Tent & Porter Service costs $450, and includes a tent that's suitable for one or two people, and one or two chairs. This service does not include a sleeping bag or pad. You’ll need to bring these items along with you in your baggage.
Tent & Porter Service is limited to the first 40 riders (or pairs) who sign up during online ride registration. If two of you are sharing a tent, only one needs to sign up for Tent & Porter. You register for Tent & Porter at the same time you register for a ride – but be warned: These spots go very quickly!
If you miss signing up for Tent & Porter at registration, email us to see if we still have availability. Once we fill all the spots on a ride, we will maintain a Wait List, in the order people contact us. If we have any cancellations, we’ll go down the list in order.
Rental Chairs
Everyone likes to relax in a comfortable chair after a great day in the saddle. With our Chair Service, you can lounge in comfort and not have to worry about sitting on the ground or stuffing a chair in your baggage.
Here’s how it works: Once you arrive in camp, drop by and pick up your chair. The chairs will be individually numbered for your convenience. Be sure to return the chair to us that night, and we’ll transport it to the next campsite for you to use again.
Chair Service costs $25, and is limited to the first 70 riders who sign up; you can register for it at the same time you register for a ride.
If you miss signing up for Chair Service at registration, email us to see if we still have availability.
Massage
Riding for many hours a day calls for a little extra love for your muscles and joints, and a massage can be a luxurious and healthy way to relax and recover for the next day. We’re pleased to offer massage services from a top-notch team of licensed therapists. You can book a massage before the event or during it, but keep in mind that spots fill up quickly. For 2023, rates will be $110 for a 60-minute massage and $60 for a 30-minute massage.
Of course our therapists are experienced with sports massage, but they also offer myofascial release, deep tissue, Swedish massage for relaxation, therapeutic stretching, and good humor and music!

Acupuncture
We're excited to have added acupuncture as a wellness service! Betsy Platt, L.Ac, owner of AcuOm Acupuncture, has been helping cyclists with recovery and pain relief on organized tours for many years – she works on some of our BRNW massage therapists, so they can vouch for her work – and she will be set up in camp each day, next to the Massage tent. She will offer acupuncture and other Chinese modalities, in one-hour sessions on either an appointment or drop-in basis. She’s happy to consult with you for free to see if acupuncture can help you, and she can bill insurance, too.
Apparel
One of the best ways to flaunt your membership in the BRNW Family is to proudly wear some of our gear – they’re tasteful but vibrant pieces of wearable art. Go to our Shop page for more details and to order.
Bike Detailing
Does your bike need a little clean-up? Our mechanic crew is proud to offer professional-level detailing for your trusty steed. They’ll give it a top-to-bottom and front-to-back cleaning, including the drive train, so your bike can look as good as you do riding it. The cleaning service uses non-destructive degreasers that are friendly to your bike and the environment.
Bike detailing costs $40 ($55 for tandems and recumbents). You pay at the time of service, directly to the mechanic, by cash, check or credit card. Reservations are subject to availability, and you can make one directly with our mechanics at camp.
